In short: this website sets no cookies. That's why you don't see a cookie banner.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar techniques, such as local storage or tracking pixels, work in a comparable way. They are often used to follow you around or to collect statistics.
2. The nutritom.app website
The website:
- sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's storage;
- uses no analytics tools such as Google Analytics and no advertising pixels;
- embeds no videos, maps or social media buttons;
- loads no fonts or scripts from third parties: everything comes from our own server.
Our web server does keep technical logs, such as your IP address and the page you request, to keep the site secure. We don't use cookies for that. More in the privacy policy.
3. The app
The app uses no cookies for tracking or advertising and contains no advertising or analytics tools. To keep you signed in, the app stores a session key on your device. It also remembers settings such as your language. That is strictly necessary for the app to work the way you ask it to.
4. Why there is no cookie banner
Under European and Belgian rules, your consent is only needed for cookies and similar techniques that are not strictly necessary. Because we don't use any, no consent and therefore no banner is needed.
5. Changes
If we ever do start using non-essential cookies, for example for statistics, we will ask for your consent first and update this statement.
